The surrounding Sussex countryside is quite spectacular and many cyclists, walkers and horse riders use this area for their enjoyment. The site has considerable charm in a very pretty, rural setting and has the feel of “the land time forgot” with an overgrown country look.
We are only 7 miles north of the seaside city of Brighton and only 1 hour from London Victoria.
We offer quirky, quality glamping accommodation ranging from cosy private clearings in the woodland, through to elaborate hand crafted treehouses. All have their own private spot for a roaring campfire.
Our aim is to encourage everyone to enjoy and develop a love of the woodland and nature, which will then hopefully encourage the next generation to understand and participate in its conservation.
Our pitches are accessed via paths through the woodland or meadow with all cars parked in a separate parking area to keep the site traffic free. We supply wheelbarrows to transport your kit to your pitch.
Camp in our famous secluded glades in the heart of Blackberry Wood. You will have your own clearing with a fire pit. Kids, camp fires and bbq’s are encouraged! Nearby are funky shower and toilet facilities; you’ll even love washing up in our new hand crafted sink area.
The campsite has around twenty camping pitches which are situated in cosy, little private woodland glades.
Over the summer, our Wild Side is open for family camping with meadow and woodland clearings, with spectacular views over the hills nearby. Cars are parked separately to keep our sites traffic-free.
Our site is perfect for families and couples looking for that perfect little get-away. Sorry, we do not accept groups.
